Costs and fees

For the issuing of a Veterinary Practitioner's Identification Card, costs according to the Tarifordnung of the Österreichischen Tierärztekammer will accrue.

There are no specific deadlines to be met.

General information

Required for the setting up of practice is the entry into the list of veterinary practitioners and the receipt of the Veterinary Practitioner's Identification Card. The Veterinary Practitioner's Identification Card will be issued in parallel to the entry into the list of veterinary practitioners.

Procedure

A separate application for issuing a Veterinary Practitioner's Identification Card is not required, as it will be issued in parallel to the entry into the list of veterinary practitioners. Exempt from this is the application for issuing a duplicate.
